Each Year were Going to add 1 or 2 Deserving Stewards to the Hall of Fame
to get us Started We've Selected 3 previous Chief Stewards and a fellow Steward who we were very sorry to lose in 2008

 

Chris Jennings Ex Chief Steward

Chris, sadly left us this year for work commitments, Ex Chief Steward Chris was 42 when he left us. Chris is married to Mandy and has one daughter Molly,
Living in Oxfordshire Chris is a director for a security company which sells amongst other things "intruder alarms not burglar alarms"
Hobbies include Politics, photography, Computers and gadgets,

Chris Had a special way of talking to people, his natural Charismatic ways and hard work got him from being a lowly door steward, to the prestige of Chief Steward (which i know meant
  a lot to him), Chris Was Promoted from deputy Cheif Steward in 2005 when Chris Maines took the steps into the FCC, 
With Over 15 Years of Commitment Chris thoroughly Deserves the Right to be labled as a Hall of Famer

Chris came back to conference in Bournemouth to collect his well earned 'Lifetime members conference pass' and was presented with a gift bought through the Stewards

Chris Maines Ex Chief Steward,
Chris was and is an extremely likable person, he has a way of getting anyone to do anything to help, its a really great quality and it
was proven when in the early years of this century there was more than 10 stewards from his local party Orpington
Chris Maines Left us in 2004 to fight an election in his ward in Orpington. Since then Chris felt he couldn't stay away from
the conference organising side of conference so he went up for the FCC and got in, Chris has been in the FCC Since 2006

Chris Returned to conference in 2006 to collect his Lifetime members Conference Pass as well as to join the FCC
Chris works in Property and Now lives in the Blackheath Area in Kent, where he is a Councilor and is standing for MP in 2010

Baroness Angie Harris Ex Chief Steward

Angie left us around the turn of the millennium,  but still worked in the VIP Section of conference after leaving the chief steward role
Angie is married and works in London in the houses of Parliament

After training Chris Maines up She Left the Stewards Team, Angie is a hugely respected lady, she has a massive presence at conference and is known by many respected by all
she still attends conference and deserves the Right to be labeled as a Hall of Famer

Angie Comes to conference most years and its great to still see her year after Year

Very Sadly in 2008 the stewards team was shocked to hear that steward Graham Rix had passed away, we feel its very fitting to honour a
long serving hard working steward a place in The Lib Dem Stewards Hall Of Fame,

Graham had worked for the stewards for many years married to his wife and fellow Steward Barbara
Family man who enjoyed spending time in france
